What Surprise's bulk crew won't take
Surprise's bulk trash program requires a signed liability waiver before the crew will collect, and the list of exclusions is long: appliances aren't taken without a separate appointment, and dirt, rocks, concrete, bricks, roofing, and batteries are out entirely. (Residents can self-haul one load up to 2,000 lbs free, and the city runs cleanup events a couple of times a year with proof of residence.) Appliances and heavy debris are most of what people actually need gone. That's our normal work.
