El Mirage bulk pickup is now a paid, by-appointment service
El Mirage contracts its trash collection to Parks & Sons, and bulk pickup — which used to be a free twice-a-year program — is now scheduled by appointment through the hauler and billed per pickup, priced by volume. Regular collection excludes remodeling and construction debris, dirt, rock, cement, and roofing shingles (special arrangements and charges apply), plus tires, batteries, paint, and other hazardous items. If you're paying either way, compare: one flat quote by load, everything loaded for you, no separate charges for the "special" items.
